pumpkin, raw 2000.0 gram
onions, raw 500.0 gram
vinegar, distilled 100.0 mililiters
salt 1.0 tablespoon
spices, pepper, red or cayenne 1.0 tablespoon
black pepper, peppercorns, dried 1.0 teaspoon
sugar, white, granulated or lump 4.0 tablespoon
tomato paste, canned, without salt added 400.0 gram

Instructions how to prepare

  1. Wash the pumpkins thoroughly, peel them and remove the seeds. Cut it into small cubes.
  2. Peel the onions and chop them into slices.
  3. Wash the peppers and cut them into smaller pieces. Combine the vegetables.
  4. Sprinkle them with salt, mix and set aside for three hours.
  5. After this time, put the vegetables into the pot and cook for 50 minutes. Remember to mix.
  6. Blend everything. Add sugar to taste. Add vinegar. Ground peppercorns. Add tomato concentrate/paste season according to your preferences. Mix and bring to a boil.
  7. Blend again.
